ABOUT AMY

Amy has over 20 years of education technology experience as the Assistant Superintendent of Monroe 1 BOCES and previously as the Director of Strategic Initiatives at Wayne Finger Lakes BOCES.

Amy is the recipient of the prestigious "Forty Under 40" award from the Rochester Business Alliance and is one of the founding members of the USNY Technology Policy and Practice Council, led by the Board of Regents.

Amy has served on several professional boards, including COSN, the Consortium for School Networking, and ISTE, International Society for Technology in Education. Amy continues her role for over 15 years, as the Conference Chairperson of the New York State Association for Computers and Technologies in Education (NYSCATE) Annual Conference, which is the largest education technology conference in NYS, held annually in Rochester, NY.  She has served on the leadership team of the Technology Standards for School Administrators (TSSA) Collaborative and has worked with many educational institutions across the country focusing on best practices and implementations regarding effective and efficient uses of technology in schools.  Amy has been the recipient of the ISTE Technology Leader of the Year Award, In the Arena Awards, and various other technology-related achievements. Amy recently completed her doctoral program in Executive Leadership at St. John Fisher College and proudly serves as the Board Chair for the Northwest YMCA, a board member for Hilton Heat Soccer and Hilton Select Basketball, is an active member of Rochester Rotary and participated in the Dreams for Drake Foundation.
