Doreen has supported educators in the Monroe One BOCES region as an Instructional Technology Specialist for the last 10 years. Throughout her time at Monroe #1 BOCES, Doreen has created and facilitated instructional technology-based professional learning opportunities, making connections with educators and students to increase engagement. Part of her current job duties includes educating students on Digital Citizenship and Internet Safety, an important topic for the educational shift to the 1:1 classroom.

Doreen's goal is to ensure students use of technology in an educational manner that is safe and productive. In addition, Doreen collaborates with educators to integrate technology into the curriculum through thoughtful best practices to engage Digital-Age Learners. Finally, through R & D as well as the creation of learning experiences, she brings cutting-edge technologies such as robotics and 3-D printing to the hands of students.
